YNGSTR

YNGSTR is a self-initiated magazine that I conceptualized, wrote, and designed to spotlight artists who use their art to challenge the normalization of pessimism. For the first issue, I interviewed creatives across three different countries, exploring how they use their work to spread optimism in an increasingly negative world. Each feature was published in both English and the artist’s native language, reinforcing the global reach of creativity and positivity. From developing the editorial direction to conducting interviews and building the visual identity and layout system, I created the publication as a thoughtful, tactile platform that documents how artists are actively shaping a more hopeful future.

As my final major project at university, YNGSTR represents a milestone in my growth as a creative professional. Leading every stage independently, from concept development to final execution, allowed me to fully shape the vision and deliver a cohesive, strategic outcome.
